Catholic High School Recommendations

Thank you so much for sending Scott to us.  His pro-life presentation to our 9th grade class was remarkable.  The students were engaged for the full one-hour presentation.  It has been a week since and they are still discussing the issues in the cafeteria as well as in the classroom.  Mr. Klusendorf gave them much needed ammunition to fight the pro-choice position.  The only negative comment I heard was from some 10th grade students who were sorry they weren't a part of the assembly.  Thanks again for this opportunity and please let me know when you return to the metropolitan area again.

John P. Flaherty, Principal, Salesian High School, New Rochelle, New York

Scott's presentation at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School on April 29, 2004, was very well received by students and faculty.  His riveting presentation had the 840 ninth through twelfth graders' full attention.  What was especially impressive was his very logical approach to contradict the arguments of the pro-choice advocates combined with the reasoning to support pro-life.  He showed a 90-second video to illustrate his points about human life, since a major pro-choice argument is that the unborn fetus is not really human.  The emotional impact of the short video created an irrefutable logic/emotion punch that stayed with everyone long after the presentation ended.

Scott's presentation began our school day.  My theology teachers told me that afternoon that they had thrown out their lesson plans for the day because the students were interested in delving deeper into the topic and the arguments that Scott had presented that morning.

Frank Moore, Principal, Blessed Trinity High School, Roswell, Georgia

Scott's presentation is a well-crafted mix of the visual, scientific, and philosophic approach to defending the sanctity of life.  He did not preach nor did he come across as a crusader.  His message however was very clear and it gave ample food for thought to our students.  I commend Scott in his work and appreciate his insight into this emotionally charged subject.

Julian DiCastri, Vice Principal, St. Albert Catholic High School, Edmonton, Alberta

The teacher from Mater Dei was really pumped up and said the kids were still talking about Scott's presentation at the end of the day.

Mike Fichter, Director, Indiana Right to Life, Evansville, Indiana

Our eight hundred students and faculty paid close attention the entire hour Scott spoke.  When it was over, I heard only positive responses from those who attended.  I'm glad that Scott was able to show the short video.  We did have some initial concerns, but Scott warned the audience ahead of time that it was powerful, and indeed it was.
